The mixed-bed system’s innovative chambered tank with both bottom and mid-distributor plates comprises the revolutionary water distribution system, uniquely separating the filtering media into different chambers. Physically separating the media improves each layer’s contaminant removal performance, extends the life of the primary filtering resin, and helps to eliminate water channeling, or uneven water flow through the system.
