SwimMaster Plus Solar Pool Heaters are certified by IAPMO R&T to NSF/ANSI 50, SRCC 100, and SRCC 400. Each collector proudly bears the USPC and USEC seals shown above.

Solar Hydronics Corp.’s SwimMaster Plus brand Solar Pool Heaters chose to partner with IAPMO R&T because of their more than 85 years of experience in certifying products. Their marks are recognized throughout the industry as the premier marks of conformity for plumbing products in North America.

The USPC (Uniform Swimming Pool, Spa and Hot Tub Code) mark of conformity demonstrates compliance with applicable codes and the NSF/ANSI 50 standard. The USEC (Uniform Solar Energy and Hydronics Code) mark of conformity demonstrates compliance with applicable codes and SRCC 100 and 400 standards. Both marks signify accredited third-party recognition, meaning the solar pool heater has been certified by an organization outside of the manufacturer’s industry. And IAPMO R&T’s marks are widely recognized and trusted by the inspectors who approve your solar pool heater’s installation. The USPC and USEC marks assure buyers that they are purchasing a product that has been manufactured, tested, and inspected to industry standards, giving them peace of mind that they have made the right decision.

Our solar pool heaters are listed to NSF/ANSI 50, SRCC 100, and SRCC 400.

NSF/ANSI 50
Product: Equipment and Chemicals for Swimming Pools, Spas, Hot Tubs, and Other Recreational Water Facilities
Characteristics: Materials, chemicals, components, products, equipment, or systems related to public and residential recreational water facility operation. This standard establishes criteria for various components and their materials to protect health and safety, promote durability and protect water quality.

SRCC 100
Product: Solar Thermal Collectors using a fluid for heat transfer
Characteristics: Durability, construction, and performance criteria and procedures for characterizing the thermal performance and indicating the durability of solar collectors used in applications such as swimming pool heating, space heating, cooling and water heating.

SRCC 400
Product: Solar heating systems used with residential and commercial swimming and wading pools and spas.
Characteristics: Performance, design, and installation requirements of solar energy systems for heating water used within pools, wading pools, and spas.

USEC
Uniform Solar Energy and Hydronics Code (USEC). The USEC ensures that solar pool and spa heaters meet minimum requirements for safety and durability. It sets minimum requirements to provide for the proper integration of solar pool heaters with the wide variety of pool and system designs available today. It covers critical safety topics related to the maintenance of water quality, suction entrapment safety and scald protection.

USPC
Uniform Swimming Pool, Spa and Hot Tub Code (USPC). The USPC provides all necessary requirements for the installation, inspection and maintenance of swimming pool, spa, and hot tub systems and their component products.
