Solar PV (photovoltaic) Systems 

Also known as solar electric systems, PV involves turning sunlight into electrical energy. Yes, you read right—not the Sun’s heat, but its light.  

There is a required process for converting the DC (direct current) into AC (alternating current), but the good news is that all necessary parts of the system are available as a kit from The LeverEdge. 

Solar water heating 

This process is much easier to understand, as it does heat your water directly from the Sun’s heat. Water is drawn up into the panels, where it heats up and returns to the water tank, ready for use. 

Incentives 

There are even federal tax credits, and other state and local incentives available to encourage the use of these renewable technologies.
