Some of Our Contractors' Experiences

We have been installing solar pool heaters since 1980 and have worked with all the different panels that have been available throughout the years. We now use Hi-Tec solar panels exclusively. We know that the weakest point of any panel is where the absorber and header are welded together. We like Hi-Tec's one-piece molded construction, which is superior to other welding processes. We know this feature will give the panels extended life. With pool companies installing cleaning systems in their pools and putting more demands on flow rates, it's extremely important to have a solar system that can be installed which doesn't decrease flow rates. Hi-Tec is the only solar panel we have found that can be used without adversely affecting cleaning systems. The panel has a high BTU rating from the Florida Solar Energy Center but we think it heats better than other panels we have used with the same rating. We think Hi-Tec surpasses all other brands in quality, by far.
